This is an amazing cafe! Seating inside is limited but there are small tables outside so you can enjoy the London ambiance--but be warned the stools outside are hard so not comfortable for sitting on for a long time. Fun for people watching at the pub across the way.
This is a place where you ask the server(owner?)'s recommendations and then take them. They take pride in serving authentic Parma food, and it is delicious! The meats melt in your mouth and the cheeses are flavorful. The pasta is homemade, and cooked al dente. The sparkling red wine that you drink from a bowl was surprisingly good.
Italians aren't normally known for their desserts, but we had two delicious ones: a chocolate "salami" which was a chocolate roll with crunchy bits inside cut into slices, and then an ice creamy dessert with amaretto and Berry inside that was bursting with flavor.
The pacing is slow....they want you to enjoy the experience of dining at In Parma, so plan on around 2 hours. You won't be sorry! -

We enjoyed a light lunch here with a shared two meat and cheese board, some drinks, then salads of our own. All of the food was incredibly fresh and service was solid. While the place was small, we never felt crowded.

Food was AMAZING! Pasta is homemade and cooked al dente (just the way I like it ). Restaurant itself is pretty small so there may be a wait but again, the food is TOTALLY worth it.

Good food, it the price really brings it down!
Our Order: two bowls of Lambrusco (sparkling red wine), mixed cheese tender plate, Tortelli d'Erbetta (spinach cheese ravioli), and a pesto spaghetti.
Environment: small Italian cafe with only a couple workers. Comfortable seating and there was no wait.
Verdict: good one-time spot for the experience of the Lambrusco and the parmigiano-reggiano (which was absolutely amazing and fresh). However the price was too steep for the flavors and portions, plus you had to pay for bread (even with the cheese plate order). Customer service was slower than expected and took awhile to actually get our check after they cleared the table & we were only the third table in the place.
Tips: try the Lambrusco - it's a new experience. The cheese plate was delicious.
Next Time: probably wouldn't come back as there are so many other Italian food spots for try. -

The hosts here are passionate about sharing the food from their hometown of Parma. We had a delightful evening enjoying the meat and cheese platter as well as the homemade pasta. There was no air conditioning indoors, but the courses were impeccably timed and well portioned. Charming and delicious!
